"Sign-up terms and conditions on the most popular U.S. websites have an average readability level on par with articles in academic journals, according to a study by two law professors.

The professors used two readability tests to review “sign-in-wrap contracts” that consumers are required to accept before they sign up for the websites. Out of 500 agreements studied, 498 fell below the recommended readability score for consumer-related information, Motherboard reports."

"Amazon, Alphabet, FedEx, UPS, 7-Eleven—all are developing a system of drones to deliver packages. These drone delivery companies (referred to as “operators”) believe drone delivery can significantly reduce their shipping costs and increase the speed of their deliveries. In July 2016, 7-Eleven completed the first retail drone delivery in the United States. In December 2016, Amazon Prime Air, the Amazon drone delivery service, completed its first delivery in England. Now, Amazon is planning airborne warehouses.

Federal regulations, private property rights, state property laws, and local ordinances are a few of the hurdles these operators will have to overcome before they can provide a drone delivery service. At the federal level, drone travel at high altitude is currently restricted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). At the state level, travel at low altitude over private property requires agreements from a patchwork of property owners."

The Instagram sidebar is alleged to include identifying information about plaintiff that plausibly constitutes (copyright management information) under section 1202(c). And the plausible inference from Plaintiff’s allegations is that PopSugar removed the CMI from plaintiff’s Instagram posts knowing that removing the CMI would help to conceal the alleged infringement of plaintiff’s images. The court therefore denies defendant’s motion to dismiss Plaintiff’s DMCA claim," Gilliam said.
