Burk Delventhal, Chief Deputy of the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, will discuss the history of progressive politics, and the assassination of Harvey Milk and Mayor Moscone and its aftermath and legal impact on the city. Mr. Delventhal was with the City Attorney’s Office at the time of the assassinations, and played a role in the governmental response, and the legal repercussions.
