Introduction to Practicing Civil Law in Alameda County

Please join us for an overview of the departments and functions of the Alameda County Superior Court general civil division for new lawyers and those interested in civil practice. This presentation will include a discussion of the types of civil matters heard and an overview of the Direct Civil Calendar. We will also include a discussion of the life of a direct civil calendar case, from filing and service of a complaint to trial.
