Identifying Assets and Mitigating Obstacles in a Vocational Evaluation
A profile perspective from forensic family law vocational evaluators
This presentation will focus on how vocational evaluators identify and manage the strengths and weaknesses presented by a candidate for vocational evaluation in a family law matter. They will use the hypothetical of an unemployed college graduate who is a professionally trained engineer in her/his late 40's to early 50's and who has been out of the work force for 10 + years.
The presenters will address:
- How the process begins and what vocational evaluators need from attorneys.
- Those assets and obstacles presented by the subject of the evaluation.
- The benefits of a vocational evaluation for the attorneys and the parties.
Light lunch provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.
