Discussion Will Include:


~ Changes in the nature of immigration enforcement against employers and employees in the Trump era.
~ Changes in the application of I9 rules and regulations.
~ Effect of changes in Deportation policy on employers and their employees.
~ A discussion of changes and trends in the application of immigration law under the Trump Administration that may affect employers and employees.
~ How to apply for a law enforcement certificate form to obtain a U visa for an employee victim of crime in the workplace.

Mr. Kerosky is the founder and principal of the law firm, Kerosky Purves & Bogue, with offices located in San Francisco, Napa, Santa Rosa, Ukiah, Sacramento, Walnut Creek and San Jose. Mr. Kerosky is a graduate of UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law and a former trial lawyer for the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C. He writes a legal column for the bilingual newspaper La Voz, as well as other ethnic newspapers. Mr. Kerosky is also a member of the Sonoma County Human Rights Commission. He serves as Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland and his office operates as the Consulate of Poland in San Francisco.

Ms. McCann works in a solo law practice in Santa Rosa. She has over 30 years of experience providing legal representation to employees in discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour lawsuits. Ms. McCann’s practice includes the processing of U Visa certifications with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and other government agencies for her immigrant clients who are victims of crimes, including sexual assault or other violent crimes suffered while at work.
