Who? The Richmond/Ehmet Aid Foundation (REAF)
- REAF is a nonprofit founded by two mothers who both lost their sons to AIDS during the epidemic. The organization continues to support HIV/AIDS groups in the Bay Area (like ALRP!) in honor of their sons.

What? Help Is On The Way XXIV Gala

Why?
- Currently, ~1.1 million people are living with HIV in the US and 1 in 7 don't even know it.
- 1 in 4 of new HIV infections are amongst the Youth - age 13-24
- At the current rate of HIV diagnosis rates, 1/2 of all gay black men and 1/4 of all gay Latino men in the US will be infected.
- Volunteering for ALRP supports our work to keep our HIV+ clients in their homes, maintain access to healthcare and medications, and avoid deportation.

When? Sunday, August 19th
How? VOLUNTEER!
- We need EXTRA help filling the late shifts. If you're available, please help with those shifts.
Volunteer Shifts:
Morning Set-Up/Unload - 8:45am - 12:45pm
VIP Reception/Breakdown - 4:30pm - 9:00pm
** Silent Auction Monitoring - 8:00pm - 11:00pm
** After Party Set-Up/Breakdown - 8:00pm - 1:00am
