Getting the Job Done – Mechanics Liens

What are they, and how do you deal with them?

With all the construction going on in the Bay Area, it is more important than ever for attorneys, owners, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to know the ins and outs of contractor and subcontractor payment, mechanic's lien issues and how to deal with them. This program will cover various topics related to mechanic's lien law, including right to lien, subcontractor and supplier payment, preliminary notice, timeline issues, payment bonds and stop notices.

Light lunch provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.

Cost:

FREE for ACBA Members

$115 for Non Members

Please note: there will be a $10 administrative fee if you cannot make the program, and do not cancel 24 hours in advance. A $10 fee will also be assessed for day-of and walk-in registrations.
