How the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act Will Affect Nonprofits and What Your Organization can do to Prepare
This program will provide an overview of H.R. 1: the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and focus on the Act's provisions that may impact the not-for-profit industry. Program attendees will learn about the following topics:
- Changes related to the Unrelated Business Income rules, including the new fringe benefit rules
- Changes to excise taxes affecting nonprofits
- The potential impact on charitable giving and what nonprofits should do in anticipation
- Strategies in advising donors on how to maximize their a charitable contributions for tax purposes
- Provisions that did not make the final tax bill
Light lunch provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please plan to bring your own food.

Please note: there will be a $10 administrative fee if you cannot make the program, and do not cancel 24 hours in advance. A $10 fee will also be assessed for day-of and walk-in registrations.
