While the cannabis industry will continue to be an inherently risky one in certain ways as long as marijuana remains illegal under federal law, that does not mean that cannabis businesses cannot or should not protect themselves against foreseeable business risks. It is more complicated to fully insure yourself and otherwise manage risks as a cannabis operator, but doing so is a critical component of growing a prosperous and sustainable cannabusiness.
