Judge Jennifer V. Dollard
Superior Court of California, County of Sonoma
Judge Dollard has been with the Sonoma County Superior Court since 2014, receiving her judicial appointment by Governor Edmond G. Brown, Jr., in November 2017. Prior to that she served as a commissioner with the court. She is currently assigned to a misdemeanor arraignment and trial calendar department (including all family law in custody matters), back up for Juvenile Dependency, VALOR court and Traffic. Prior to moving to Sonoma County, she served as the Judge assigned to Small Claims, Unlawful Detainers, Traffic, Short Cause, Limited Jurisdiction Civil and Family Law Trials, Restraining Order hearings and Misdemeanor Arraignments for the Shasta County Superior Court. Prior to her work on the bench, she held the Senior Research Attorney position with Shasta County Superior Court (1999-2007), Deputy District Attorney for Shasta County (1998-1999) and Assistant Judge Advocate (JAG) for the United States Airforce (1994-1998). She received her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law SCALE Program in 1994 and her B.A. from the University of California, Davis in 1998.
