Creating Binders & Dealing with Exhibits

PROGRAM

This Roundtable will focus on the preparation and management of trial exhibits throughout three phases of your case:

  • Thinking Ahead During Discovery/Early & Initial Trial Prep
  • Prepping Closer to Trial, including Binders, Visual Aids, and General Logistics
  • Use of Exhibits During Trial, including Trial Technology

*With respect to audience skill level, this program is recommended for newer to intermediate level practitioners, summer associates/law clerks, and paralegals/staff

SPEAKERS

Jennifer Anderson (Moderator) is a paralegal with The Veen Firm on the Leary Trial Team. Ms. Anderson has almost seven years of legal experience in personal injury and mass torts, including discovery, trial, hearings, mediation/settlement, motions, and pleadings. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Nicole E. Forde is an employment litigation associate with Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses exclusively on representing management and business owners in employment matters. She has extensive experience litigating individual harassment and discrimination matters as well as class actions alleging wage and hour violations. Ms. Forde also provides ongoing advice and counsel to her clients to ensure constant compliance and to prevent future liability. Much of her advice and counsel work consists of pro bono assistance to non-profit organizations.

Alexandra A. Hamilton is an attorney with The Veen Firm on the Leary Trial Team. She handles complex cases involving catastrophic injuries or death, including products liability, workplace injuries, dangerous conditions of property, and vehicle negligence. Ms. Hamilton has been recognized as one of the top young litigators in California. She has been named Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association, Top 10 Under 40 in California by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, and Top Ten Best Female Attorneys by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. Since 2014, she has been selected as a Rising Star by Northern California Super Lawyers.

Aron K. Liang is an attorney with Philip M. Andersen & Associates. He handles a wide variety of personal injury cases and has significant trial and arbitration experience in federal court, state court and other dispute resolution forums. Mr. Liang has been a member of the California State Bar since 2003 and has tried several jury trials to verdict. Mr. Liang has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer Rising Star. for the elderly. She has achieved successful results for plaintiffs in mediations and trial throughout California. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Ms. Guadagni was selected as a Rising Star
