Stephanie Gisele Pool, who goes by Gisele, is a California-based paralegal and a dedicated member of multiple nonprofit organizations working to end domestic violence in the United States. She has been a member of the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence since 2020 and volunteers her time on a crisis line for a culturally specific domestic violence organization in Los Angeles.

This session explores the history of domestic violence in the United States, the domestic violence restraining order process, and the paralegal’s role in assisting victims of domestic violence. This session will focus on using a trauma-informed approach when working with clients who have been affected by domestic violence.

This general CLE training will be held via Zoom from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM PT on February 27 and costs $25 for members and $40 for non members. Registrants will receive their Zoom link three days before the event, and a reminder the morning of. See you there!
