The SFPA seeks nominees for Paralegal of the Year.

Winner to be announced at the Annual Meeting
on October 25, 2019.

ELIGIBILITY

A candidate must be a voting member of the SFPA to be eligible for nomination and compliant with Business & Professions Code Section 6450 et seq. to be eligible for nomination.

NOMINATION

A candidate is nominated by either a voting or student member of the SFPA.

CRITERIA

Judges will be looking for candidates who have demonstrated their value as members of a legal services team, shown dedication to the legal profession, and  have made a difference in their workplace, community, and paralegal education.

Members should nominate an individual for SFPA Paralegal of the Year by submitting a brief written essay describing why the nominee deserves this honor.  Essays should be kept to a maximum of 300 words.  Please submit your nomination to info@sfpa.com with PARALEGAL OF THE YEAR in the subject line.  You may consider obtaining statements from individuals who have worked or served with the candidate and quote from these statements in the written essay.  Such statements can provide excellent examples of what distinguishes the nominee from other paralegals. 

JUDGES

The 2019 SFPA Board will review the information submitted on each candidate and will come to a consensus to determine the winner.

AWARDS

Winner will receive an award certificate and a $100 gift card.

DEADLINE

Nominations are due by October 1, 2019.  No late entries will be considered.
