Nearly fifteen years after its enactment, the Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act of 2004 (more commonly referred to by its acronym “PAGA”) has proven an increasingly potent and commonly used tool for challenging a wide range of Labor Code violations and violations of IWC Wage Orders. In this presentation, our panelists will provide an overview of PAGA, discuss issues unique to litigating and settling PAGA claims, and cover recent developments relating to PAGA claims.
