The mission of the San Francisco Paralegal Association Community Service and Pro Bono Committee is to develop partnerships with attorneys, bar associations, community service organizations, and other nonprofit agencies to coordinate pro bono efforts and provide high quality support within the San Francisco and East Bay communities in serving socially and economically disadvantaged community members. Working closely as a team through a spirit of camaraderie, the Committee endeavors to promote equality, justice, and fairness by offering help to others in need.

This committee is responsible for planning the Annual Meeting, Paralegal Day, and all socials for the Association.

The Marketing and Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining membership information for the San Francisco Paralegal Association. This includes marketing the San Francisco Paralegal Association to prospective members, welcoming new members, and following up with inactive members. The Marketing and Membership Committee also handles all marketing and membership requests from sustaining members and vendors.

The Professional Development Committee promotes educational and training opportunities to enhance paralegal skill sets, promotes greater utilization of paralegals in the workplace, encourages professional development through the San Francisco Paralegal Association, promotes effective regulation of the paralegal profession in California, and provides networking opportunities for San Francisco Paralegal Association members.
